Horror after horror - the Second World War did not end in triumph, but in another struggle called the Cold War. Split into two camps, the world was plunged into constant threat of nuclear devastation. Swarelia, bordering the newly founded federation of Yugoslavia, finds itself on the doorstep of the Eastern Bloc, torn between the West and the East.
Gameplay
The advent of the Cold War brings forth a major spike in difficulty, as the demand for services effectively doubles as compared to the previous era, new research arrives, and many of the edicts of the interbellum period suddenly disappear. Be ready for some major cost cutting or tax reforms to maintain liquidity.
